Part of Day 3, Day 4, and Day 5 (Jan 8 to Jan 10, 2016) of Safari with Crispin, Chad, Jen, and Kaitlyn. Highlights: Leave Ngorongoro Crater landscape and into the 'endless plains' of the Serengeti. Encountered 'single-file train' of wildebeest, sleepy lions on rocks (Lion King-esque!), hyena vs. cheetah and cub surprise, sunset, sunrise, stars, amazing bush TV + rabbits + cat, glamping it up in wilderness, super lazy hyraxes, elephant city, directional and landmark ostriches, overly-ambitious leopard vs. baby elephant, amazing (and super energetic) staff at tented camp, rain in the Serengeti, rain drop in my eye, hippo pool madness, woke up and startled a hippo on last day, spotted a jackal, birding, food truck in the Serengeti sighting, seeing Serengeti from above, and so much more!
