Day 1 (Jan 6, 2016) of Safari with Crispin, Chad, Jen, and Kaitlyn. Drive to Rift Valley and Lake Manyara. Giant stock up on water. Lots of Masai and their homes/villages along the way, the only baobab tree I get to see in Tanzania, tourism economy impacting residential settlements in vicinity of Lake Manyara, the giant "art shack" negotiation debacle, first close encounters with elephants, coordinated giraffes, warthog family, and thousands of flamingos in the distance.
