The lean-to camping experience at Smuggler's Notch State Park

This area originally was used by people in Vermont to smuggle goods between the US and Canada during a time when the US banned all trade with British North America. It was later also used during the prohibition era.

On the summit (aka. The Chin) of Mount Mansfield. A storm came our way just after we finished lunch. We quickly made our way down but still got caught in the rain and hail!

This was partially rebuilt and restored but it was a beautiful covered bridge. it also had countless comments and names written all over the beams. I wonder how many people have signed their names on this bridge.
