An extended long weekend trip to Sleeping Giant Provincial Park and the neighbouring Ouimet Canyon. An amazing campsite steps away from the lake, noisy neighbours, wandering skunk, encountered wolves, deer, chatterbox chipmunks, received numerous visits from the duck family, mysterious ant colonies, numerous rabbits, and a red tailed squirrel. 20+ km hikes out to the top of the giant and a drive out to Ouimet Canyon which was ... somewhat disappointing but interesting nonetheless. Silver Islet however was a hidden gem!
