After a long drive and a great breakfast along the way -- we stopped by Valley of Fire State Park for a quick hike to the Fire Wave. It was surprisingly a lot warmer here than in Utah or Arizona.
Warmer weather meant the cacti flowers were blooming already.
The trail was pretty sandy so we were not impressed.
