A three day road trip with a two day journey into the Abes and Essens Trail. A pretty nice lake trail with a lot of lakes (we stayed at Little Rock Lake where there was a large population of sun fish apparently). Humidity + water shortage + thunderstorms + mosquito swarms eager for Chinese food meant quite the adventure. Add on a car starter mechanical problem and we've got an epic hike from the trail back to the regular campground.
